Seasons Drift by Riffs – 1ml Sample

Inspired by: Bleu de Chanel L’Exclusif (a deeper, woodier, more resin-heavy take on the classic blue DNA)

Fresh. Dark. Actually interesting.

Seasons Drift opens with a sharp citrus pop — lemon zest, grapefruit, pink pepper — that gives you that familiar “blue fragrance” entry point. Clean, bright, easy. But it doesn’t stay there long.

Pretty quickly, it shifts. Cedar, clary sage, and ginger pull it into something drier and more aromatic. Less shower gel, more structure. This is where it starts separating from your typical blue scent.

Then the base kicks in — sandalwood, amber, resin, labdanum — and this is the whole point. It gets thicker, darker, slightly sweet, slightly smoky. There’s a resinous, almost leathery depth here that gives it that L’Exclusif feel, just not as polished. 

It’s still fresh, but there’s weight behind it. Clean, but with some edge.

Opens bright and citrusy → transitions into dry aromatic woods → dries down warm, resinous, and slightly dark.
